During the consultation with one of our licensed Estheticians, each patient will complete a Self-Assessment form which provides some background information and reflects your interests and skin care goals. The Esthetician will analyze the skin while going over the best options for procedures and homecare to ensure maximum results. We utilize our VISIA Skin Assessment in house, which uses UV lighting to record and measure surface and subsurface skin conditions. Your photograph will be taken before and after treatment so that you can see the difference over time.

VISIA COMPLEXION ANALYSIS

At SKIN Specialists, we ask that you begin with a personal consultation and VISIA Complexion Analysis. The VISIA is a multi-spectral imaging and analysis for six areas affecting complexion health and appearance; wrinkles, spots, pores, evenness (the color variation in the skin tone); porphyrins (evidence of bacteria in pores), and UV spots (characteristic of photo damage, typically from overexposure to the sun). This allows us to evaluate your skin for a number of skin conditions, including photoaging, rosacea and acne. The VISIA also provides comparison information of your complexion's characteristics to women and men of the same age and ethnicity. This allows us to develop optimal treatments and regimens for each individual patient. A printed report is provided on the details of the imaging session along with recommendations for rejuvenation and skin care options.
