In spring 2021, Dermatologic Surgery of Albany merged with Albany Dermatology to form SKIN Specialists of the Capital Region, establishing itself as the premier dermatology practice in the area. As a physician-owned entity, we take pride in delivering essential care to thousands of patients throughout upstate New York and neighboring regions. With two cutting-edge facilities conveniently situated in Albany, we offer comprehensive services.

In 2023, SKIN Specialists of the Capital Region undertook significant expansions at both locations to enhance our operational capabilities, ultimately benefiting both patients and staff. The Executive Park office underwent a complete makeover, optimizing clinical and administrative areas while substantially enlarging and more than doubled the waiting area for patients.  Additionally, our MedSpa expanded into a stunning 1500 sq. ft. space.  The Washington Avenue Ext office saw the addition of 12 new exam rooms, a dedicated scheduling department office, and revamped waiting and reception areas. 

Annually, our practice attends to over 43,000 patients, including more than 5,000 MOHS surgical cases, with ongoing growth projections.  

Previously the location of Dermatologic Surgery of Albany PLLC, is one of the only accredited office based MOHS Micrographic Skin Cancer Surgery Centers in the state of New York. AAAHC accredited organizations are committed to providing high quality care and service, based on nationally recognized healthcare criteria. In addition to our MOHs department, we offer medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology services at this location.

In addition to our general dermatology department, this location is the home of our MedSpa with licensed estheticians and providers offering esthetic services and cosmetic dermatology.
